Visual Designing of Education

We see images in textbooks. So we must first understand what is an image? An image is basically two-dimensional picture, that has a similar appearance to some subject. Videos and images help a student to connect with the text that he is reading. Giving information to students in a concrete visual form helps them handle the many happenings during a day that can cause confusion or frustration. Looking helps students establish attention better than just listening. Once they have focused their attention, the rest of the communication message can get in.

Visual strategies bring in clarification it avoids confusion and helps students to record their observations and thoughts in writing. It also helps them in memorizing particular facts. Often student's relationship with social studies textbook involves confronting a wall of deadened facts that reduce the learning of history to memorizing a series of events and developments that occurred during a particular historical period. Pictures allow students to relate a concept to a quick image. That simple image can conjure an entire script. It conveys meaningful information that can communicate far beyond written description.

Traditional classroom settings can be rather frustrating and students can have trouble succeeding in an environment where one has to only go through longs sentences. Videos and images give a break to the students from the monotonous task of reading as it goes beyond the texts. These visuals take words off a page and bring the story to life. They are particularly helpful for a generation of students who have grown up with television and computers.

At Arch Techno we make learning easy. The famous saying “a picture is worth a thousand words” explains it all. We undertake the expense of including many photographs and other visuals in the layout of a chapter. We design the education text with various images and videos. By going this extra mile it would give students the structure necessary to better handle situations that are difficult for them. Right to Education Act

Education plays a very vital in one life as it broadens ones horizon and gives a better understanding of the world and how things work. Education has a fundamental role to play in personal and social development. Children are the pillars of the nation. Educating them is investing in the future.

India has adopted the provisions of the Universal Declaration of Human Right in which Article 26 states

(1) Everyone has the right to education. Education shall be free, at least in the elementary and fundamental stages. Elementary education shall be compulsory. Technical and professional education shall be made generally available and higher education shall be equally accessible to all on the basis of merit.

(2) Education shall be directed to the full development of the human personality and to the strengthening of respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms. It shall promote understanding, tolerance and friendship among all nations, racial or religious groups, and shall further the activities of the United Nations for the maintenance of peace.

(3) Parents have a prior right to choose the kind of education that shall be given to their children.

India has realized that free and compulsory high school education will create awareness among children as to how important education is in one's life. Education serves as a building block to ensure that every child has the right to guaranteed quality elementary education. The state, with the help of families and communities, has a legal obligation to fulfill this duty. The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act or Right to Education Act (RTE), which was passed by the Indian parliament on 4 August 2009, describes the modalities of the provision of free and compulsory education for children between 6 and 14 in India under Article 21A of the Indian Constitution. India became one of 135 countries to make education a fundamental right of every child when the act came into force on 1 April 2010. The new law makes it obligatory on part of the state governments and local bodies to ensure that every child gets education in a school in the neighborhood. Unaided and private schools shall ensure that children from weaker sections and disadvantaged groups shall not be segregated from the other children in the classrooms nor shall their classes be held at places and timings different from the classes held for the other children.

Outsource - Outsource - Outsource

Everyday one hears that a top MNC company has outsourced its particular process or part of its business to a third party. Why so. This is because Most of the times an organization cannot handle all aspects of a business process internally. Once the task is outsourced to the service provider, he will take the responsibility of carrying out the tasks and maintaining the organization’s assets. Outsourcing simply means where any task, process, operation which could be performed by the company itself is contracted to a third party for significant period.

In times of inflation companies have to do cost cutting this where outsourcing plays an important role it eludes the need to hire individuals in-house; hence recruitment and operational costs can be minimized to a great extent. We exist in a period where there is cut throat competition so it becomes essential to companies to give quality and quantity work in limited period of time. Most of the times tasks are outsourced to vendors who specialize in their field. The outsourced vendors also have specific equipment and technical expertise, most of the times better than the ones at the outsourcing organization. Effectively the tasks can be completed faster and with better quality output. An outsourcing company can bring better management skills to your company than what would otherwise be available. Outsourcing will allow operations that have seasonal or cyclical demands to bring in additional resources when you need them and release them when you're done.

The person to who you outsource your work to is very crucial. The vendor selection process can be a very complicated and emotional undertaking if you don't know how to approach it from the very start. Arch Techno Company with its head office in Ahmedabad is a simple spirit – letting you concentrate on your business and relaxing you of everything else. Outsourcing to this company is simple, cost effective and of course quality which is most essential is always delivered to the fullest. e-Education in India

Computer education facilities should be set up in rural areas by identifying secondary schools in development blocks in the country. All schools with computer education facilities should have Internet connectivity so that vast educational resources already available and to be developed by schools themselves could be shared amongst them.

At different level, government is making efforts to provide e-education. The Melur Taluk in Madurai district would probably be the first one in the country where e-education would take off soon in seven schools through the project “Sustained Access to Rural India”. Another story published shows the interest of children in e-education. The kids have taken to computers easily. They want these classes to go on and on,” says a teacher. Some children walk barefoot up to 15 km for their share of interactive learning. According to M. Sasikumar, eLearning is still lagging behind in India. It needs to pick up, if education needs to have far reaching implications at the macro level in the country. In India, the problem is that e-Education and ‘virtual university’ has been restricted to things like video conferencing.
